Futures in Biology – NCBS Annual Talks

NICE lab was a part of the 2017 NCBS Annual talks on “Futures in Biology” and presented three posters along with Shannon’s talk on “From Insect Dreams to Virtual Reality“. Hoverfly preference in different geography was revealed in “Tracking wild pollinator preference across climates and continents” by Pragadheesh et al. Behaviour of Coffee White Stem Borer was explained by Raksha and Santosh in “Understanding Xylotrechus quadripes: How beetles wake up and smell the coffee“. Pavan and Marian constructed their cool virtual reality set-up and presented as “MFaking reality : A game that means the world to a fly“. Fun filled science celebration!
